articles folders bug technical-issue

What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

At the article tab, the folders' organization is assembled by my own preference- not alphabetically or the like. However, every time I add a new folder, the entire list is thrown out of order, when I try to fix it, the folders are rearranged entirely- sometimes folders become subfolders to the folder above. I fix it again and once again folders "fly" to other locations.

Please keep the folder order as the user determines it fixed and for folders to stop flying around, its a major bother and I don't want to spend 15 minutes rearranging

Follow up

I have arranged for example of what I mean by it in a few pictures- I fix the order, hit refresh and there's a new list. I don't wish to display it in the open, so for development reason I would prefer to send it to your team, if you need more information.

I'd like to shoutout to @Those2Nerds for helping me fix my issue. Would probably be better to fix the positioning numbers, as I explored my folders they were all scored the same number causing the mess.

This is a bug rather than a feature request, and a new articles manager is actively being tested. You can use the Position field on categories and articles to arrange them to your needs when click & drag doesn't work right.

The alphabetically ordered in folders has been broken for a long time. But I hope they can do something about it.
