What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

  The ability to assign multiple species (& Ethnicities) to characters for instances of Hybrid races or multicultural characters.

How does this feature request address the current situation?

  Currently, a character can only be assigned one race and ethnicity. This makes it a bit difficult to fully and accurately describe a character who is a hybrid of two or more species/ethnicities.

What are other uses for this feature request?

  This feature could also create a section in Species articles that could show known/compatible hybrid species, which could also auto-generate child articles that link both parent articles for all species that comprise the hybrid. This article can then be further edited to distinguish a specific hybrid as a unique species and describe further information about it.     NOTE: Yes, while it is possible to do a decent chunk of this feature via a workaround of linking and creating extra articles manually, I believe this would be a very good quality-of-life feature that would also greatly improve organization between related articles as well as add a nice improvement to the character article template.
