What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
The Author's Notes section is only working on an article basis. So you have to write it everytime new, or use variables (if you are feeling comfortable with that). Yes, sure, it is not that much work to do this manually, but it would be a nice-to-have addition, that makes this part more easy and comfortable to use.
Of course one could just use the footnotes, which are already global, but for some content the positioning just doesn't make sense, so it would be more logical to be right before the comment section.
How does this feature request address the current situation?
You could have a Global Author's Note section, that is always the same, for every article. That way, you can add for example a short text where you ask for feedback for your article and don't have to do this manually every single time. And then an additional for the article, where you could, for example, include some other information, like that the article has been written for an (un)official challenge.
The Team's Response
Thanks for the suggestion! We've added this to our longlist and you can expect to see it when we develop the new Presentation view version (don't expect it in the near future).
