What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
I love the statistics page, but found out that it updates when you check it, or some other arbitrary reason. I saw over the course of one day my world views jumped about 6k and my articles jumped about 70. I suspect this may be updating only selectively, perhaps when going in to check them instead of giving a true daily, weekly, etc. update.How does this feature request address the current situation?
Right now it updates only when viewed, which doesn't give true or accurate live data that could help creators pinpoint a specific article or timeframe (season, month, etc.) that helped boost their numbers.What are other uses for this feature request?
If this were updated it would greatly help users see what articles they posted that did so well, or what interactions they had (over a YouTube video or a convention) that boosted their numbers.Follow up

I am really sorry but that will mean a very expensive calculation to run every day / week for over 5 million worlds. This will not be possible.

on 2022-09-03 09:43I have noticed that stats are only updated infrequently so can be quite a long way out of date. I know quite recently when I had created a whole series of articles over a few weeks and I checked the stats there was no movement on article count or word count shown for months. I'm not obsessed with the stats but they do give you some way to measure your work and I would welcome at least a bit more clarity on when they are refreshed. Even if the the stats page had a "last updated" date and time on it, at least you'd be clear. Or perhaps just suspend automatic updates of the stats but then make it an option for the user to refresh them?
