Because there is no support for drop caps in the Plutarch editor, I have to use bbcode to add a drop cap to the start of my articles like so:

[dc]T[/dc]he

But every time I open the Plutarch editor to edit one of my articles, the brackets and forward slash disappear, so I have to retype them every time.

Please add support for drop caps in the Plutarch editor, or at least prevent it from deleting brackets and forward slashes for bbcode which it doesn't support so we don't have to retype brackets and forward slashes every time we edit an article with unsupported bbcode.

The Team's Response

Hi! Plutarch already supports dropcaps, however it doesn't support BBCode by design. In order to set up a dropcap, select the letter you need to turn into a dropcap and click the dropcap icon in the formatting toolbar (it looks like a D).
