relationships minimal article-block
What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
Not every relationship in every single project needs to be quantified by smiley face slider-bar. While I'm sure some people love that, it's currently forced on every character relationship in every world for every user, when, in many cases, simply having the relation listed in the sidebar would be enough.
The current system allows you to hide the relationship entirely or hide the "actual opinion" smiley, but it doesn't allow you to hide the "displayed opinion" smiley separately or to have the relationship show up exclusively in the sidebar. This fits your needs if you want to display a lot of information about the relationship or if the relationship is some type of secret which you want completely hidden, but it's not ideal for minimal displays of relationships where you don't need extra displayed information beyond "this relationship exists."
I'm currently hiding all of my relationships and using the "Sidebar: Content Panel" to list them instead, but I think plenty of people would appreciate a more minimal display option in the toggles.
How does this feature request address the current situation?
This proposal would add another checkboxe to the relationship panel:
-VISIBILITY: SIDEBAR ONLY (or "NO ARTICLE BLOCK") would make the relationship show up in the sidebar and family trees, but NOT in the article body. This would be overridden by "is hidden" if that is selected.
